Continuing Education

            Course Hours: Twenty Four (24) CE credit hours are required biennially.

Amount of credit hours that can be done via ClickCE courses per state rules/regulations: 50%, 50% must be in a classroom

Course Topics: Of the 24 hours, at least 6 hours in one of the lines of authority for which agent is licensed. Of the 24 hours, 3 hours must be in ethics. The remaining hours may be taken in any Kentucky approved course. Only up to 12 hours may be met through self-study, the remainder must be classroom. Property agents selling flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program must complete a one-time 3 hour course on flood insurance.

Carryover Amount: A maximum of 12 classroom or self-study hours may be carried over to the next reporting period.
