Course Hours: Depends on your line of insurance: Life 16 hrs, Health and Accident 16 hrs, Life Health and Accident 32 hrs,Life and health 40 hours, Property 32 hrs, Casualty 32 hrs, Property and Casualty 40 hrs, Personal Lines – Property and Casualty 32 hrs, Bail Bonds 8 hrs, Title None.
Your Department of Insurance has approved ExamFX as a prelicensing correspondence course. By completing this course as directed, you will satisfy your full prelicensing requirement. To obtain your certificate of completion, please complete the following steps: a.After you place your order, check your e-mail. You will receive a pdf form containing two documents that you will need to fill out and fax to us after you pass the course. b.Study the material for each chapter. Take chapter quizzes to test your knowledge. c.Simulate Your Exam. You must score at least 70% to pass the course. IMPORTANT: Your exam will need to be monitored by a disinterested third party, which can be anyone except relatives and supervisors. d.Print your score sheet. e.Fill out the pdf application form and proctor affidavit. f.Fax the score sheet, application form, and proctor affidavit to 866-539-2617. g.Your certificate will be processed in 2 business days and will then be delivered to you.
Continuing Education
Course Hours: Twenty-four (24) CE credit hours are required biennially.
License Renewal Cycle: Renewal (continuation) date is the last day of your birth every two years thereafter.
Amount of credit hours that can be done via ClickCE courses per state rules/regulations: 50%, 50% must be in a classroom
Course Topics: At least 18 of the required 24 CE hours required must cover the lines of insurance for which the producer is licensed At least 3 of the total required hours must be in Ethics There is a 2 hour LTC education requirement for producers who wish to sell LTC products. This is a one-time required course and will count towards the basic CE requirement for the renewal period in which it is taken.
Carryover Amount: 12 excess CE credits earned during the 120 days prior to the compliance date may be carried over to the next reporting period.
Proctor Requirements: NO proctor required for any course
