Continuing Education Requirements:
Producers must complete at least Eight (8) CE credit hours every year (10 hours combined lines). Producers must complete one (1) hour of ethics education.
Non-Resident Requirements:
Same as license renewal date.
Continuing Education Compliance Date:
Producers date of birth, annually.
Types of courses accepted for CE Credit:
Both classroom instruction and self study courses are accepted.
Course Subject Requirements:
Any approved course without regard to the type of license you hold.
Carryover Requirements: Eight (8) CE credit hours may be carried over to the next reporting period. Effective January 1, 2004 producers must complete (1) hour of ethics education.
Can Courses Be Repeated: You must wait two (2) years before repeating a course for credit. This does not apply to one (1) hour ethics courses.
Final Exam Requirements: Final exams are required to be monitored by a disinterested third-party proctor. Upon the successful completion of a course examination, which is a passing grade of 70% or better FinancialCampus will mail a state certificate of completion for your records and report the credit hours earned to your state within 10 days of course completion.
Exemptions:
- Producers 60 years of age
- Those licensed for at least 15 consecutive years.
- Limited or restricted license.
