Course Description:This course teaches you the aspects of structural components involved in a home inspection. Learn the fundamentals of foundations and drainage, soil concepts, repairs, floor structures, and masonary walls typically encountered during structural inspections. You will gain a solid understanding of foundation materials, floor system components, foundation movement, wood framed walls, and more. Includes end of module quiz.
Minimum System Requirements:
- Microsoft Windows 2000/XP
- IBM PC Compatible Computer with 450 MHz Intel Pentium II processor (or equivalent) and later
- 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM
- Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
- Internet connection (minimum 56Kbps required, although we highly recommend a high speed connection such as DSL, cable or T1)
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0
- Microsoft standard Arial, Times New Roman, Symbol, and WIngdings fonts
- CD-ROM drive (if taking a CD-ROM course)
- 50 MB available hard drive space (CE Courses)
- 200 MB available hard drive space (Prelicense Courses)
